Happy 4th of July!

Not sure what to wear to that family picnic or fireworks show? Get in the spirit of the holiday by wearing a simple sundress in white and accessorize with chunky gold accessories. Have a dress that is red and white? Even better!

Mom-to-be Ashlee Simpson was recently showing off her growing baby bump in a stylish, yet comfy outfit consisting of a long black jersey skirt paired with a black layering cami. Simpson, who is expecting her first child this fall with her Fall Out Boy hubby Pete Wentz, doesn’t mind showing off a hint of skin with her new curves.

Camila and Matthew McConaughey make a “hunky” purchase

Is actor Matthew McConaughey going to pass on his famous 6-pack abs to a baby boy? Although McConaughey and his girlfriend, Brazilian model Camila Alves, have said they are waiting to find out the sex of their baby, sources are saying the couple just made a baby purchase fitting for a baby boy.

The couple reportedly bought this gift set which includes a bib, burp cloth and shirt with the words “Hunk” embroidered on the front.

Minnie Driver talks pregnancy quirks

Actress Minnie Driver walks her bump - and her dog- after enjoying lunch with a friend. The mom-to-be is sporting the “it” shoe for moms-to-be: the gladiator sandal. Driver, who is expecting her first child next month, recently spoke about her “green” cravings.

“I had a dream and they told me in the dream that her (baby) favorite color is green. Maybe that’s why I like green food so much. Green apples are my obsession and cucumber and snap peas, all green foods. It’s weird. I really haven’t had this huge appetite. There’s no room to eat tons of stuff. I was ready for having this massive appetite that I heard about but it just never kicked in. I’m really quite lucky.”

She mentions her “bionic sense of smell” as another pregnancy quirk she is getting used to. “I have a bionic sense of smell that’s hardcore. Everything becomes overpowering like aftershave, perfume, and scented candles. I’m happy the nausea finally went away; that was the worst part, the sickness and the throwing up to begin with was wretched. Otherwise it’s been very peaceful.”

Are there any weird smells that seem to turn you off while you are pregnant? I remember the smell of toothpaste would always make me queasy.

Nicole Kidman gathering favorite songs for labor CD

Actress Nicole Kidman is preparing for the birth of her child by compiling her favorite songs to be played while she is giving birth to her fist child, reports the Daily Mail.

Due this summer, Kidman’s list includes songs from her hubby, country singer Keith Urban, but most of the songs are the classical melodies of Irish flautist Sir James Galway.

“Nicole has been putting together CDs of music to listen to during labor,” a source reports. “She has always loved James Galway, particularly his classical albums. Whenever you go to her house, she has Galway on. There is one Prokofiev sonata that is her favorite.”

24 actress Marisol Nichols showed off her baby bump at the Los Angeles premiere of Hancock yesterday.

Nichols, 34, and her husband Taron Lexton are expecting their first child, a girl, in October. As far as names go, the actress reveals that they have a list of baby names but will wait to pick until they meet her.
