Definitely, Maybe star Rachel Weisz recently spoke to The Sun about how motherhood has made her feel sexier than ever.
“I feel sexier after having a baby. I think you feel a lot more confident and much more appreciative of your body and what it’s capable of doing. I’ve got a lot more respect for it,” Weisz, 36, says.
Weisz and her fiancé, director Darren Aronofsky are parents to 1 1/2 year-old Henry Chance. The actress says it took her over a year to lose all the baby weight. “When I stopped breastfeeding I gained some. It took me more than a year to get back to where I was.”
Weisz says she feels “a very powerful love” for her son. “I think every mother gets panicked and thinks something is going to happen. I put my hand on his back and stick my head in the crib so I can hear his breath. Or I tickle his feet and get him to move. I think it’s natural for a mother to fear the worst. Nature put that there so we protect our children.”
Are there more children in her future? “I’ve got no plans to have another baby. I can’t imagine having another one now. But never say never…”
