All tips : Real views : The big drop

The big drop
by Crystal, 39 weeks

What does it feel like when baby drops? "This baby has been gradually dropping since about 31 or 32 weeks but there was a big jump (or dip?) around 38 weeks. Instead of getting up to pee four or five times at night, I started getting up about six or seven times (almost every hour). Sometimes, I'll wake up and feel like my bladder is about to burst only to discover that there was hardly anything in there. I've been experiencing more low back pain than ever (a lot of pressure on my tailbone, and it kills!) and menstrual cramps, although those probably aren't related to dropping."
