1) Stay away from anyone who seems sick. (Ask to change your seat if necessary.)

2) Try not to touch your tray table or armrests with your hands, and wash your hands before eating or touching your face.

3) Stay hydrated so your body can keep its natural defense mechanisms working.

There's one more thing you can do to cut your risk - but most people don't like the idea: Wear a face mask. You might look like Michael Jackson (probably the world's most famous mask - wearer), but you'll drastically reduce your exposure to germ - laden airborne droplets circulating through the cabin from other people's coughs and sneezes.
