Drink up, girls!
by Nancy and Betsy

According to David Barrere, M.D., F.A.C.O.G., an Ob/Gyn in Ohio, pregnant women are easily dehydrated, especially in hot weather. You should increase your fluid intake during the summer months - to at least eight to ten eight-ounce glasses of water each day. This is especially important in your third trimester: As you get dehydrated, contractions become more likely, possibly leading to premature labor and a too-early delivery. So raise a glass of H2O and toast to your baby’s good health.
