All kinds of maternity undies are out there - from the under-the-belly bikinis to the up-to-the chest briefs. But did you know that maternity thongs are also available? Some women swear they’re super comfortable; others wear them simply because they make them feel like their old sexy selves. Japanese Weekend and Bravado both make thong panties just for pregnancy.

You might not want to wear them every day, though. Some doctors say they’re seeing more thong-wearers complaining of vaginal infections because bacteria is more able to travel from the rectum to the vagina. And hemorrhoid sufferers beware: Thongs may irritate that sensitive tissue. Not worried? Then go ahead and relish the pantyline-free look!
